The 2022 Undergraduate Internship Scheme gives UWE Bristol students the opportunity to participate in an eight-week summer internship to gain valuable experience at established employment sectors.

Providing UWE Bristol students with high-quality work experience that shows initiative to prospective employers. Opening a door early in their careers, this internship scheme presents an environment for undergraduates to apply their academic knowledge in a professional setting.

“WIA has chosen to partner with the UWE Bristol Summer Internship scheme in recognition of the importance of the University of the West of England to our local community and economy and the value contribution that a UWE graduate can bring to the practice. We have chosen to work with a marketing intern to help us with an ongoing project supporting business development throughout the practice, developing marketing material for the different sectors and creating content based on real projects. We expect Marshall to bring academic insight, enthusiasm and creativity to the role” – Paula Willmore

Marshall Thomas completed his Marketing Degree in May 2022, still awaiting his final grades, Marshall is projected to finish with a First-Class Honours Degree and will be celebrating his graduation in July. At WIA, Marshall is expected to bring his wealth of graduate marketing knowledge to improve the firm’s digital and social media content.

“I am extremely grateful to both UWE Bristol and Willmore Iles for this opportunity. The current employment market is difficult, so I hope this internship will provide a competitive advantage early in my career. Most importantly however, I chose Willmore Iles as I have the chance to showcase my skills by being trusted to develop content whilst being allowed the freedom to grow” – Marshall Thomas
