Willmore Iles Architects have been appointed by Equans to develop the design and deliver the consented scheme through to construction.

Sitting within the Old Kent Road Masterplan, the building steps back and up from Glengall Road to link to the wider masterplan while creating roof terraces looking out over Burgess Park to the west.

Utilising concrete sandwich panel construction, the scheme provides 676 postgraduate student rooms within a mix of cluster flat and studio room types.

The lower floor provides communal facilities including study and social spaces, movie room, gym, courtyard gardens, launderette, and communal dining room.

The scheme also provides the LSE with project and office space and replaces the existing commercial floorspace.
