The Park is a purpose built student accommodation scheme located in Sheffield within walking distance of the Sheffield Hallam University, the popular student hub of West Street, and a short tram journey to the University of Sheffield. The site consists of 117 lodge and townhouse style units providing over 650 bedrooms. The proposals were to optimise and refurbish the site in two phases; bringing a level of individuality to each unit. The first phase (298 bedrooms) of the redevelopment is now complete and the second phase is due to commence shortly.

Twenty-eight lightweight timber frame extensions have been added to the existing kitchens and in conjunction with a full interior fit-out, provide new student flats with a strong identity and improved social space, that have proved popular with students.

The proposed extensions are carefully designed to fit in with the existing landscaping and each has been sited to avoid impact on tress and to cause the least disruption to established planting.
