Antonio Berongoy

ARB

Architect

I joined WIA in May 2021 to work with the leisure residential team.

Background:

I am a Project Architect with over 10 years experience in central London based practices. My experience covers a wide range of sectors including commercial, civic, arts, education and residential buildings in prominent locations throughout the RIBA work stages. I have extensive knowledge of dealing with sensitive listed and historic buildings, successfully leading projects from inception to completion.

Professional Interests:

A passionate advocate for diversity in the Architecture profession, I build relationships with not-for-profit organisations to pro-actively improve representation, working with young people to develop best practice and deliver successful social mobility strategies including workshops, mentoring and school assembly talks – helping to create opportunities for people from all backgrounds.

And in the rest of life…

I love building and riding bicycles as a way to see a place. I’m spending a bit of time designing and refurbishing our new home in Bristol at the moment.
