Dido Graham

ARB, RIBA, Passivhaus Designer

Architect

I joined Willmore Iles Architects in October 2022 as a Senior Architect and I am currently working on the very exciting University of Exeter West Park project, which is a passive house scheme currently at the planning stages. I sit on the Employee Council on the Employee Ownership Trust board.

Background:

I have 10 years of experience working for large architectural practices in London in the residential & mixed use sectors.

I am also a Passive House designer and I am passionate about sustainability and design that improves people’s lives.

I have worked across a range of projects including one off houses, small sensitive infill sites and large mixed-use regeneration schemes of over 300 homes.

I try to take a creative and investigative approach to every brief aiming to produce high calibre design that exceeds expectations.

Professional interests:

I am a sustainable design geek and I feel a responsibility as a designer to consider the ethical impact of the work I am involved with.

I think its important for architects to engage with other construction industry professionals to tackle the climate emergency, rethinking problems from other angles is the best way to achieve a positive solution.

Outside of work I have been volunteering with LETI helping to produce the upcoming part 2 Retrofit guide.

And in the rest of life …

I love exploring new places and being in the countryside, so getting out on my bike, running, wild swimming and climbing are some of my favourite things to do outside of work.
