Part I Architectural Assistant

I joined Willmore Iles Architects in October 2019 after completing my RIBA Part I BSc at UWE. Since joining WIA I have been involved in stages of the development and planning across projects on two large-scale residential holiday home communities. I look forward to working further on the residential projects as well as the wider scope of projects that WIA are contracted to.

During my undergraduate course at UWE I thoroughly enjoyed developing social and residential projects. Organising spaces that promote interaction, creating environments full of light and life and using architecture as a tool to champion a better attitude to sustainability were my main focuses. I moved to Bristol from London where I completed a course in Art & Design, where I initially developed an interest in the design aspect of architecture.

Professional Interests:

Being at the first stage on the path to becoming a qualified architect I have an infinite desire to discover the possibilities of the field. The various avenues that architecture comprises must all be carefully considered to achieve good design. I’m interested in developing my knowledge and skills in these avenues further to become more equipped to successfully design sustainable and compelling architecture. I picked up a particular interest in 3D-Modelling and rendering during my time at UWE, which I hope to expand upon at WIA.

Rest of Life …

I developed an increasing habit for music production growing up and this habit has long since grown into a passion. I’ve more recently spilled over into mastering and arranging. I also enjoy playing football as part of a 5-a-side team on my days off.
