Nickson Amadeo

Part I Architectural Assistant

I joined Willmore Iles Architects in 2026 as a Part 1 Architectural Assistant after completing my undergraduate degree. I’m grateful to be part of a very dynamic team and to be learning how the architecture industry works.

Background

I am a Bsc (Hons) Architecture graduate from UWE Bristol. Prior to this, I studied Environmental Art and Design for one year, where I developed a foundation in visual communication and creative thinking. My interest in architecture grew after a visit to Hong-Kong, where I as inspired by its where I was inspired by the layered density and energy of the city.

For me, I always begin my design by understanding people and place, starting from the wider social, historical, and environmental context at an urban scale, and gradually working down to resolved architectural details.

Professional interest

I am particularly interested in human-centred design, such as designing to create a positive impact on human daily life and and shapes meaningful human experiences through atmosphere. Moving forward, I want to deepen my understanding of architectural language and tectonics, allowing me to develop intentional architectural design narratives.

And in the rest of life

Experimenting with recipes and practising latte art are ways I exercise my creativity. I also enjoy keeping active by going to the gym and walking in nature or around the cityscapes. I’m always open to exploring new hobbies.
