About You

We are looking for someone who has a passion for technical detailing and an eye for quality.

You will be part of a team delivering large‑scale student accommodation and residential developments, contributing technical solutions that support design and coordination.

We are looking for someone organised, professional, enthusiastic and self‑motivated, with strong communication skills and a collaborative, open‑minded approach that works well when priorities shift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting as technical lead across multiple RIBA stages, liaising with clients, consultants and contractors, as well as supporting the Project Architect
  • Producing, coordinating and reviewing detailed technical drawings and Revit models
  • Ensuring compliance with UK Building Regulations and relevant standards
  • Contributing to BIM standards, workflows and best practice
  • Reviewing and managing technical packages, resolving technical issues and responding to technical queries and sub-contractor information
  • Mentoring and supporting junior technologists and architects

Your Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • Architectural Technology degree, relevant HNC/HND or BTEC.
  • CIAT registered with no less than 3 years post-qualification experience
  • Demonstrable experience in leading the delivery of production packages on multi-residential projects
  • Proficient in Revit (including family creation and editing)
  • Broad experience of working in BIM environments, with ISO 19650 working knowledge required.
  • Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing

Desirable:

  • Experience working in AutoCAD, Viewpoint (4P) would be useful, as well as experience in other platforms such as Navisworks / Solibri.however training can be provided.
  • Specific interests or experience in low-carbon design and whole-life carbon analysis

  • Salary £35,000 to £42,000 depending on experience.
